Physiotherapy is the modern scientific physical therapeutic system of medicine for diagnosis, prevention and treatment with global aim of improving functional independence. India. Physiotherapy is the branch of health care services which supports the various departments of the hospital for various medical and surgical conditions with the aim to maintain, to improve and/or to prevent movement dysfunctions.
The SSM COLLEGE OF PHYSIOTHERAPY is a unit of SSM group of Institutions run by Vyrathi Charitable and Educational Trust”, was started in 2021 with an annual intake of fifty students for it’s under graduate program in Physiotherapy. SSM College of physiotherapy functions efficiently with the Dynamic Principal and a team of dedicated faculty members. Our college imparts excellent training, and guides the candidates’ face the clinical environment confidently. SSM College of Physiotherapy is affiliated to the Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

Admission
Eligibility
Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the B.P.T Degree course should have passed the higher secondary examination-12th with the following subjects: Physics, chemistry and Biology/Botany and Zoology.
Candidates who have studied abroad and have passed the equivalent Qualification as determined by the Association of Indian Universities Will form the guideline to determine the eligibility and must have passed in the subjects: physics, chemistry, biology (Botany/Zoology) and English up to 12th standard level.
